Lastly, cave systems have allowed many scientific discoveries which in all help the human population with new technology, medicines, and more. As divers bring new discoveries to the surface more of our earth is explored helping achieve advancements in humanity. The author of source 3 states, "Divers brought back valuable bone fossils, took samples of sediment with prehistoric pollens to determine plant life of earlier ages, and projected water flow with dyes and isotope tracing." Making these new discoveries, reveals more about earth allowing the world to improve and continue in the greater good.
